Founders Shari Perry and Amy Mounce have over twenty-five years of experience as certified special education teachers and school administrators.

Shari Perry is a lifelong special educator. Shari served in a variety of school roles from certified special education teacher to central office administrator for Maryland’s largest school district.
Shari runs a successful educational advocacy business that helps local families navigate IEPs, 504s, disciplinary hearings, and school placements.

Amy Mounce has over 20 years of experience as a certified special education teacher in both private and public school settings. She’s worked with students of varying disabilities including learning disabilities, Autism, OHI, anxiety, vision impairments, and twice exceptional.
Amy Mounce also provides educational advocacy services to families in Maryland.
